raised over £100 for the Sawley Before and After School Club and
had a great time in the process.”

our own perspective the evening went very well. We were able to
make a reasonable sum for Long Eaton Sea Cadets and were also seen
and hopefully may obtain some future cadets from the event, which
has become a firm fixture in the Unit calendar. We were totally
happy with the arrangements and would only ask for early
notification of the date for next year.”

thanks for your efforts in a successful event. We did get a lot of
feedback from the public saying that they hadn't been aware that
the switching on of the lights had moved back to 7.30pm and for
those with young kids they felt it was a bit too late.”

had a lovely evening and both the Baby Unit and RNLI did well. We
never expect to make a fortune as there is so much competition,
but we see the evening as a glittering of friends prior to
Christmas and enjoying ourselves. Any profit we make is a bonus!
It is also a flag waving exercise.”
